What are the names of the UnixWare7 (OpenUNIX 8) devices (like disk, tape, etc...)
UnixWare7 (OpenUNIX) comes with two neat commands called, 'getdev' and 'devattr' which are often used one after the other:

      getdev | less
      devattr -v diskette1

    1.44 Floppy  Raw character device for formatting
           /dev/rdsk/f03ht
           /dev/rfd0
    1.44 Floppy  Block device for mounting, taring, etc.
           /dev/dsk/f03ht
           /dev/fd0
Tape: /dev/rmt/ctape1 1st scsi drive.
Harddisk: /dev/dsk/c0b0t0d0s0 only sometimes...
CDROM: /dev/cdrom/cdrom1 1st cdrom drive. /dev/cdrom/c0b0t5l0 Device controler, id,...
