(Answer) (Category) SCO UnixWare 7/OpenUNIX 8/OpenServer 6 FAQ : (Category) Media/Device Information, Filesystems, and Disks :
Why all files on the mounted CD-ROM have ';1' at the end?
That means that CD was recorded using JOLIET filesystem.

You need to invoke SCO Admin, then Filesystem Manager, then point to CD-ROM mount entry, then select Mount-> Modify Mount Config->Advanced Options->Filename Conversion-> Suppress version and (;).

From the command line it will be like this:

     mount -F cdfs -o\ dsearch=x,nmconv=m,dperm=0555,fperm=0555,ro /dev/cdrom/cxbxtxlx /CD-ROM_1

So it is better to use a script or alias for mounting
