(Answer) (Category) SCO UnixWare 7/OpenUNIX 8/OpenServer 6 FAQ : (Category) System Administration :
How do I change the message I see at the login prompt?

Login (vt04):

SCO UnixWare 7.1.X (yoda) (pts/2)
login:
You can have this give more or less information as your security needs dictate.
For telnet, you can suppress the message with in.telnetd -h in your inted.conf file. To make your own message, you can use the banner trick in /etc/hosts.allow.
