(Answer) (Category) SCO UnixWare 7/OpenUNIX 8/OpenServer 6 FAQ : (Category) System Administration :
How do I get the character terminals to blank the screen?
There is a kernel parameter called TBLNK that you can easily modify with vtblank (1M):

      # vtblank - View TBLNK seconds and (on | off) state
      # vtblank -s 60 - Set the screen to blank after 60 sec, turn on.
      # vtblank -m 1 - Set the screen to blank after 1 min, turn on.
      # vtblank -o off - Disable screen blanking, leave TBLNK unchanged.
      # vtblank -o on - Enable screen blanking.
