(Answer) (Category) SCO UnixWare 7/OpenUNIX 8/OpenServer 6 FAQ : (Category) General Information :
SCO's been sold to Caldera, what will happen to UnixWare 7? Caldera has changed name back to SCO.
SCO is now know as the SCO Group when they changed their name from Caldera. They have now gone back to the UnixWare 7.1.X naming. OpenServer 6 is based on UnixWare 7.1.4 technology.

The SCO Sever Division was sold to Caldera, http://www.sco.com/ and they have said that UnixWare 7.1.2 will be released by Caldera as OpenUNIX 8.0.0. That's the future and it sounds interesting.
