How do I copy and paste in the KDE from an eterm to another app?
Use your left mouse button to select text. 

    It's copied automatically.
    Paste with a middle-click (or chord-click).

    I'm able to paste into Netscape's email, even though  alt+v doesn't
    work and Edit|Paste is stippled out.
