You don't need openssl-engines which is an experimental library for crypto card peripherals.

  1)  Weird host which is ok, uses a config file.
  2)  ./config
  3)  gmake               <---  Uses cc.  Very nice build.
  4)  gmake test          <---  Excellent.  Passes all the extensive tests.
  5)  gmake install
